On July 26 at 9:30 am, the Foundation Laying Ceremony for Poly The West Coast and DGUFS Jiangmen Foreign Language School was grandly held at No. 18 Tongqing road, Xinhui Economic Development Zone. Poly The West Coast project, which enjoys a 2.8-km-shore bay area, lies in the living circle of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and adjoins the West Pearl River ITH. Deputy GM Chen Hongwei of Poly South China Industrial Co., Ltd. and relevant leaders attended the ceremony. Lion dance and gun salute were performed to celebrate this memorable moment.

Leading State Enterprise Builds the Urban Landmark

As a state-owned enterprise, Poly Real Estate has always been committed to promoting urban development. In the past 25 years, Poly Real Estate has expanded its presence to 79 Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Foshan, Chengdu, Nanjing and Changchun. Poly The West Coast is Poly’s first project in Xinhui and the fourth one in Jiangmen, behind Poly Metropolis, Poly Central Park in Heshan city, and Poly Central Residence in Taishan city. Its proximity to Jiangmen Avenue guarantees that the three districts and four county-level cities under Jiangmen are readily accessible. Meanwhile, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is quickly reachable through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, incorporating the project into the Greater Bay Area Economic Circle.

At the Foundation Laying Ceremony, Mr. Wang Zening, project manager of Poly The West Coast, said that the project marked a new beginning for Poly in Xinhui. Soon afterwards, Mr. Wang Zonghua, president of the Global Society for Human Settlements, delivered a speech. He said that Poly The West Coast which is located at the core of Yinzhou Lake area with boundless river view, is a rare model of human habitat.

After the speech, GM Chen Hongwei of Poly Jiangzhao Company and President Ou Jianqiang of Mingcrown Education Company jointly painted the lions’ eyes, which gave the lions life and spirituality, just as Xinhui has been rejuvenated upon the arrival of Poly. The dancing lions pushed the ceremonial atmosphere to a new height.

Led by President Wang Zonghua, company leaders and employee representatives performed an incense-offering and blessing ceremony in the lively festive atmosphere to pray for the new project and for Jiangzhao, offering their most sincere wishes for the common cause.

Finally, accompanied by the salute sound, leaders of Poly Jiangzhao Company, Mingcrown Education and others waved their golden shovels to lay the foundation stone for Poly The West Coast, bringing the ceremony to the final climax.

We have every reason to believe that, under the strong support of Xinhui district Party committee, Xinhui district government and functional departments at all levels, and with years of experience in real estate development and construction of large projects, we will be able to build Poly The West Coast into a new landmark project and the new identity of Xinhui.
